Hop, skip and jump into an art adventure for everyone to enjoy!

Wednesday 15th July – Monday 14th September 2026

Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne is a glorious celebration of everything we love about our region. Its beautiful parks, bustling streets and public spaces will come alive with colour and conversations, as our collection of individually designed and painted Peter Rabbit sculptures bring joy (and a little bit of mischief) to the summer of 2026.

A dedicated trail map and App will help you navigate your way to discovering each sculpture, where you can unlock a series of rewards and fun facts.

Local schools and community groups will also have an exciting opportunity to decorate their own little Peter Rabbit sculpture, which will form its own mini trail and take over venues across Newcastle. This learning programme will help to engage and inspire people to unleash their ideas and creativity.

Following the public trail, the large Peter Rabbits will be auctioned off to raise vital funds and awareness of St Oswald’s Hospice, allowing the charity to continue their vital work with North East families with life-limiting conditions.
