Our design was inspired by saving the bee population before it’s too late.
During our art lessons, the children discussed how they would like our sculpture to look, whether it just looked beautiful or if it should have a meaning. The children then designed how they would like our sculpture to look and created lots of ideas. As a staff team we looked through all of the designs to look for common theme. This theme was bees and nature. The final design represents saving the bees before its too late. Making people aware of the declining population of bees in the UK. Different parts of the children’s designs can be seen on our idea, including bees, flowers, plants, a rainbow, a crown and a clock.
