Sarah Heseltine a printmaker and paper cutting artist living in Chester-Le-Street, in the North East. She is inspired by local landmarks, nature and walks along the North East coast.

This Peter Rabbit has been constructed from pottery found along the North East Coast, carefully restored using the art of Kintsug, the Japanese philosophy that embraces imperfection and repair, using gold gilding. The gold gilding catches the light, turning every repaired crack into a highlight, symbolising revival and beauty in resilience.
