Jodie Silverman is a Manchester based Fine Artist and Creative Facilitator. She specialises in figurative oil painting and loves to include surreal and symbolic elements in her work which help her tell stories. She has been widely commissioned, painting over 45 sculptures for Wild in Art Trails and her work is in private collections worldwide.

This sculpture depicts the classic Peter Rabbit™ character, created by Beatrix Potter, that we all know and love. As the insporation behind the trail, we hope he will brings joy to adults and children alike, conjuring up nostalgic memories of childhood, family and time spent enjoying the great outdoors.

Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction

The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.

Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
