Ali Elly is a North East based, environmental artist, her work is inspired by the marine species and chaotic patterns under the waves.
Muddy Paws celebrates Ouseburn Farm’s 50th anniversary in 2026, standing in a sanctuary in the heart of the city. Surrounded by raised beds overflowing with fruit, vegetables and bright clusters of more than fifty flowers, each one chosen to be painted by the local community. Wearing a well-worn tweed jacket, with visible patches over a faded cotton shirt there is a carefully chosen addition. His golden anniversary waistcoat, fastened with small, polished buttons that add a note of celebration to the scene. Working away, he’s checking ripening tomatoes, brushing soil from carrots, admiring flowers and wildlife, recognising a working garden, thriving in the middle of the city.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
