CRiS StewART is a creator and artist at NEt00n Creative, where his work is a love letter to the North East of England. He transforms familiar landmarks and stories into tangible, collectible art miniatures that fit in your hand but carry the weight of home.
In 1955 the exhibition ‘Man, Machine and Motion ‘ was organised in Newcastle by artist Richard Hamilton, founder of the artist movement we all know as Pop Art today. Little do people know of its Newcastle origins. HOP ART plays with the idea of pop art in all its forms using bold colour, striking pattern, text and image overlays.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
