Our design was inspired by the community spirit and ethos of our school.
Our Peter Rabbit design is a culmination of ideas from KS3 pupils, who worked independently or in groups, inspired by our core values of respect, integrity, and resilience, while celebrating a strong sense of community where everyone is valued equally regardless of background, appearance, gender, or sexuality. The name ‘Celestial’ reflects this unity and individuality, symbolising that, like stars in the sky, we are all unique yet connected as one.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
