Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Farewell Weekend

Come and say goodbye to our fabulous fluffle at a special weekend of celebration at Newcastle’s Civic Centre on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October. The Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Farewell Weekend will see all big and little rabbit sculptures come together for the final time, at an event for the whole family to enjoy. Simply book your ticket and join us in saying goodbye before they find their forever homes at auction!

There will be a selection of trail merchandise on sale, so it’s the perfect chance to grab a souvenir of your summer of fun. There will also be ample photo opportunities, so grab a selfie with your favourite Peter Rabbit™ one last time.

Relaxed “Quiet hour” session (10am-11am on Saturday and Sunday)

A ‘quiet hour’ session will run from 10-11am for those who might benefit from being in a less busy environment such as disabled people and those who have sensory needs such as autism. Come and say goodbye in a relaxed atmosphere without the hustle and bustle of the rest of the weekend.

Ticket prices

  • £8 adult (16+) plus Eventbrite booking fee*
  • £3 child (4-15) plus Eventbrite booking fee*
  • Under 4’s (0-3) free but need to book a ticket*

A group ticket can be bought for £15* and admits up 4 people including up to 2 adults. Subject to availability, tickets may be sold on the door however due to capacity, this will be strictly limited and we advise advance booking to avoid disappointment.

Ticket prices will be higher on the door even after online booking fees and VAT are applied to online sales.

Become a Trail Champion and receive a free family ticket!

You and your family (up to 4 people including at least one adult) will receive entry into your preferred day and time slot at the Farewell Weekend if you pledge to become Trail Champion in support of St Oswald’s Hospice.

Simply raise £100 or more by getting sponsored by friends and family to complete the trail or through other fundraising activity, and you will receive you ticket – as well as a trail finisher certificate and sticker.

Newcastle Civic Centre is located in the centre of Newcastle at Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8QH. There are many paid public car parks in the area.

The Civic Centre is close to all central bus routes and a 3 minute walk from the Haymarket Metro Station.

Newcastle International Airport is 15 minutes by taxi.

All profits from the auction will support the work of St Oswald’s Hospice.

St Oswald’s Hospice is a charitable organisation which has provided, specialist, expert care and services to patients in the North East with life-limiting conditions, and their families, for 40 years.
