Our design was inspired by our school ethos, values and our pupils’ love of reading.
Our statue celebrates the boundless magic found within the pages of a book. Designed to capture a child’s love for reading, it celebrates how stories stimulate the imagination and children’s curiosity. Our statue celebrates the escape into the many worlds which books allow us all into. It will be displayed in our fantastic school library.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
