Our design was inspired by a delightful combination of sweets and vibrant colours.
Dressed in a white jacket adorned with jelly beans and carrying a bag made of fizz rainbow laces, he exudes a playful, whimsical charm. The design merges two concepts: the classic outdoor garden setting, with moss and mud, and the adventurous spirit of exploration. With his explorer bag, he pays homage to the original Peter Rabbit tales, capturing the timeless essence of Beatrix Potter’s beloved character while adding a fun, colourful twist.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
