Our design was inspired by the ethos and values of our school.
In lessons, the children discussed the values of the school and what JFK means to them. During this initial stage, possible symbols were discussed that could be included on their design. Each child designed a version of Peter Rabbit and recurring themes were included on the final design. The jigsaw pieces represent ‘All as one’, and that each child is different but we all fit together perfectly.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
