Charlotte Mason is a freelance designer and illustrator based in Wigan. Her work is known for its detailed and intricate nature, often featuring a clever use of finish paired with handwritten type.
This design is inspired by the traditional folksong ‘When the Boat Comes In’, also known as ‘Dance Ti Thy Daddy’. Peter Rabbit is dressed ready for his day fishing at sea in his bright yellow mac and matching hat and wellies, fully prepared with his net, fishing rod, bucket and binoculars.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne Grand Finale Auction
The finale event of Tales on the Tyne will see the sculptures under the spotlight one last time, finding their forever homes at auction.
Almost all of the large sculptures will go under the hammer in a bidding spectacular, with funds raised supporting the work of St Oswald’s Hospice. There will also be a live online auction running in sync with the ‘in the room’ bids, which is guaranteed to build the excitement and healthy competition to snap up one of these unique pieces of art.
