Tommy Anderson is an artist, designer and researcher, delivering progressive creative arts programmes inspired by his practice through typography, photomontage, illustration and aerosol art. He is passionate about providing creative opportunities for those who wouldn’t usually have access to the arts – working with groups and individuals of all ages, ability and backgrounds to try new things and develop creative skills.

Golden was created by young people from The Bostey community centre in Walker working with artist Tommy Anderson. The group designed a series of colourful badges to represent all the fun things they enjoy doing over the summer – their best summer memories! The hand-painted badges are displayed proudly by Golden on his blue jacket, whilst his fur is an eye-catching design of striking gold and bronze spray-painted patterns.
