The Great Run Company
The Great Run Company is an events organisation specialising in mass participation sporting events, most notably the Great North Run – the world’s largest half-marathon. Founded in the North East, the organisation has spent more than four decades inspiring people of all ages and abilities to get active through world-class running events.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of participants take part in Great Run events across the UK, from major half marathons and 10K races to family-friendly runs that welcome first-time runners and experienced athletes alike. The company works closely with cities, charities and communities to create events that bring people together while raising millions of pounds for good causes.
The Great Run Company continues to celebrate the power of sport to unite communities, promote wellbeing and showcase the spirit, resilience and warmth of the region.

Last night was quite something! ✨🐰
@crowneplazancl was taken over by a whole fluffle of excited rabbits – aka our Tales on the Tyne trail sponsors – for our Artist & Sponsor Matching event. 🤝
After an hour of checking out the shortlisted designs (and plenty of nervous debating), our brilliant sponsors took on The Bunny Hop, bouncing their way to claim their favourite @officialpeterrabbit™ design. They absolutely nailed it. Huge thanks to them for being such good sports. 💙
🎨 Our final designs are now confirmed
